Rink Text Ch 1 (Qs 1,4,5)

1. There are objectives or goals for every student that a teacher should have as they stimulate their psychomotor, cognitive, and affective domains. For instance some children may have problems working with others and may need more individual help than others in the affective domain. Goals should be easily understood by the students and they should be reasonably obtainable. There should be goals for the class and individual students.
4. Content Behaviors include the teacher accurately describing the task and making the students engage in the task, and the teacher may have to modify the task to better fit the group. If teachers do not choose a good process they will have difficulties managing children and keeping them on task. Having good structure to a class is vital, such as keeping the class busy and not letting children that fool around a lot to be next to their buddies.
5. Movement tasks are physical tasks such as setting the volley ball to your partner. This is where students develop psychomotor control. It is vital that the instructor gives good instructions with good visual or auditory tips, and makes sure the children do not develop bad habits. It is important that the children always know what is asked of them so they can pick up the movement task quickly and not waste class time.
